The respiratory therapy department team is dedicated to improving the respiratory status of patients at Carnswell Medical Center.  All respiratory therapists are licensed through the province of Carnswell and credentialed through the Boshka National Board of Respiratory Care.

The respiratory department provides services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  Respiratory services include:

• Bronchodilator therapy

• Hyperinflation therapy

• Secretion clearance therapy

• Blood gas sampling and analysis

• Non-invasive ventilation

• Ventilator management

• Spirometry

• Six minute walk test

• Smoking cessation education and support

• Home oxygen evaluation

• Neonatal care after delivery
